KOZABURO is the label of Japanese designer Kozaburo Akasaka, winner of the 2018 LVMH Special Prize, who blends Japanese craftsmanship with Western tailoring. Trained in London and New York and now based in the United States, Akasaka gives KOZABURO its distinctive character through hand-stitched construction and traditional sashiko reinforcement — hallmarks of its coveted twisted-seam denim jeans, denim jackets, and culture-blending menswear rooted in artisanal detail.
